Refund policy

European Union 14 day cooling off period

Usually, this is a statutory requirement for online product sales in the EU. However, it doesn't apply to goods that are made to order, according to customer requirements. My prints and canvases fall under this caveat.

However, in the spirit of fairness and for your peace of mind, I will nonetheless consider accepting returns should you change your mind. You will need to contact me within 14 days of having received the picture, and we can talk about it. Returns sent to me without contacting me to discuss first will forfeit a refund.

Whatever the outcome, you would be responsible for sending the picture back by courier (any other means will forfeit a refund).

Your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and properly packed in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Returns would need to be sent to me, David Kitching, here in Cyprus. 
Please note. Shipping costs to Cyprus can be high and returns will have to be sent by courier to avoid damage risk and lengthy delays that can extend to weeks. Failure to use a courier will result in forfeiture of your right to a refund.

If your return is accepted, I'll give you details on where to send the package. Items sent back to me without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Refunds will not include the original shipping cost.


Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact me immediately if the item is defective, damaged in transit or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

If the picture has been damaged in transit, send me good photographic evidence of the damage. This should include:
1/ Clear photographs of both the external packaging and the internal packaging.
2/ Clear photos of the damage to the picture.
3/ Photos of the whole picture to place the damage in context.
4/ Clear photo of the shipping label and any barcodes.

This will be assessed and if it's considered appropriate, a replacement item will be shipped. There is no guarantee of a replacement however, and a refund will not be considered. It may be required that you return the item before a replacement can be sent.
 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, I cannot accept returns on discounted or sale items, or gift cards.
